This video was the first of a planned series that demonstrated the benefits of the engine. We storyboarded the video, built and animated the 3d model, and produced the final video.

The final video was produced by Viewpoint's services group including storyboarding, building and animating the 3d model, and compositing the live action host.

EA Def Jam: Icon Headscans

During the week leading up to the 48th Grammy Awards, the Electronic Arts Chicago team contracted Viewpoint's services group to perform headscans and record voiceover of artists in town. The datasets were used in the Xbox 360 release Def Jam: Icon.

We often used the scanning systems that we had on site in our own productions as well.
